Covid-19 Health Advisory
Tips and advice on monitoring for Covid-19 symptoms, when to get medical help and how to look after yourself at home.
Monitoring for Covid-19 Symptoms
COVID-19 has the usual symptoms of cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, loss of taste and/or smell, headache, body pain, rashes, and conjunctivitis. However, not everyone will exhibit the full roster of symptoms throughout the time they are infected with the virus, especially if their case is mild.

If unsure, take a Covid-19 test at home so you don't have to go outside. It’s also best to update someone on your symptoms and monitor any new developments you may be feeling on a daily basis.

If any of your symptoms worsen or you observe the following, see a doctor right away.
What to do if you test positive for Covid-19
Stay at home
Inform close contacts about your condition
Identify your symptoms
Consult with a doctor
Buy necessary medication
Rest well and hydrate
Covid-19 Vaccination in Malaysia
The COVID-19 vaccine is provided for free to all citizens and non-citizens of Malaysia. On January 11, 2022, KKM announced the availability and roll out of COVID-19 booster shots. The booster shot is highly recommended to ensure optimal protection against COVID-19 infection especially from severe symptoms, and, in unfortunate cases, deaths.

Post-Vaccination/Booster Care Tips
It's important to stay hydrated, get enough rest and avoid strenuous exercise. Like most vaccines, you may experience side effects from the vaccination and booster shot. Most side effects are mild, and you will get better within a few days. Talk to a doctor for advice and medicine to alleviate any pain and discomfort experienced after getting vaccinated.
