Doctor Anywhere, a leading digital healthcare platform, reaffirms its commitment towards prioritising mental health by continuously improving and enhancing its telehealth offering. In response to the growing importance of mental health in today's fast-paced world, Doctor Anywhere has diligently worked to expand its team of expert mental health counsellors and clinical psychologists on its platform, with aims to provide accessible support to a greater number of users across Malaysia. In alignment with its own mental wellness campaign, Doctor Anywhere has formed an alliance with FWD Takaful to empower all Malaysians with a complementary mental wellness programme called the ‘FWD Mind Strength Support Programme’. This programme was formulated in efforts to promote a healthy and strong mind while breaking barriers towards attaining mental health support. A first-of-its-kind programme designed to empower individuals across the nation to get support to build resilience, conquer challenges, and thrive in today's world. In recent years, there has been a notable increase in attention from both the government and corporates towards mental health. This growing awareness signifies a positive shift in acknowledging the significance of mental well-being in society. With increased support and initiatives, we can collectively work towards destigmatising mental health, improving access to resources, and fostering a culture of empathy and support. With a strong purpose to reshape the perception of mental health in a more positive manner, the FWD Mind Strength Support Programme aims to reframe the conversation by emphasising the concept of "mind strength”. The programme additionally offers a valuable feature of limited complementary confidential Mind Guidance Sessions. Users have the freedom to choose an expert of their preference and communicate in their preferred language, all accessible through the Doctor Anywhere application. This convenient service empowers individuals to seek guidance and support for their mental well-being anytime and from anywhere they desire. The launch of the FWD Mind Strength Support Programme took place on May 17, 2023, at ALoft Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The event served as the official inauguration of the programme, and notable figures such as Dato’ M Nasir, Amyra Rosli, Ikmal Amry, Nana Sheme, Nelissa Emielda and Hun Haqeem were in attendance. Their presence and that of many others symbolised the beginning of this significant commitment towards promoting mental well-being. Doctor Anywhere strongly encourages all Malaysians to seize the opportunity presented by this groundbreaking complementary solution and make mental health a top priority.
